The Ask
Create a memorable identity for Wasted Collective.

The Strategy
When creating a narrative for Wasted Collective, we went through various directions. We looked towards the keyword, wasted, and designed accordingly to what the word meant to us. But once we aligned on cultivating an eco-conscious narrative we shifted our gears. My role was to help ideate initial ideas and research to help cultivate possible narratives.

After further strategizing the story behind the logo we looked to the brand’s roots. Bali was a heavy inspiration and we turned towards foliage found in the area. We also wanted to mix the easy going aspect of Bali and it’s laidback culture. For executing the final result we utilized hand-made icons to pay homage to artisanal practices Bali upkeeps after several generations.
